DVD "Easter Eggs" Hidden Features
The DVD has four (to our knowledge) hidden "Easter eggs" which are
visual bonuses available only to those who can find them....However, we have them listed here so you don't have to go crazy
looking.
Egg #1: Keith Richards is Johnny's Inspiration:On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, access the 'Moonlight
Serenade' option. Now, highlight the 'Main Menu' option and press DOWN twice. The tooth should highlight. Select it to watch
an interview with Keith Richards "Johnny's Inspiration for Capt. Jack Sparrow"!
Egg #2: Hidden CGI Scenes:On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, access the 'Below Deck' option. Now,
highlight the 'Set Sail' option and press LEFT twice. The skull on the medalion should light up. Select it to watch various
CGI scenes within the film!
Egg #3: Pirates Cave Construction:On Disc 2, select 'Fly on the Set'. Now, highlight 'Play All'
and press right twice to highlight the skeleton's tooth. Press enter to watch "Pirates Cave Construction".
Egg #4: Japanese Trailer:On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, access the 'Below Deck' option. Select
'Scene Index' and there go to the second page of chapter stops. Highlight the entry 'Pirate Ships' and then press the 'Left'
arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight the ring on the skeletons hand and give you the chance to see the Japanese
trailer for the movie.
The Hidden Mickeys
There are a few "hidden Mickeys" in the cannonfire smoke, when the fort is firing back
at the Black Pearl in the beginning of the movie while Jack is in the jail cell.
